Job summary

Cevio Hotel Corporation in Tacloban is seeking an energetic Housekeeping Attendant to join our pre-opening team. You will help prepare the property from the ground up, performing deep cleaning and maintaining pristine room standards to welcome our first guests.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and adapt to changing priorities as the grand opening approaches. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred, and candidates residing in Tacloban or nearby

Responsibilities

• Perform intensive deep cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Stage guest rooms per brand standards (beds, drapery, amenities).
• Unbox, count, organize, and distribute linens, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Upon opening, clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms within established timeframes.
• Identify and report maintenance defects to engineering during setup.

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our pre-opening team. In this role, you will help prepare the property from the ground up, executing deep cleaning phases before the grand opening and maintaining pristine room standards to welcome our very first guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform intensive, post-construction deep cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to remove dust, debris, and manufacturing residues.

• Assist in staging guest rooms according to brand standards, including placing furniture, hanging drapery, making beds, and stocking amenities.

• Help unbox, count, organize, and distribute new linens, towels, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies to linen rooms and housekeeping carts.

• Once the hotel opens, efficiently clean, dust, vacuum, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms within established timeframes.

• Identify and immediately report any maintenance defects, chipped paint, or damaged fixtures discovered during the setup phase to the engineering team.

About you

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning is preferred.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items (up to 30 lbs) throughout an 8-hour shift.

• Sharp eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude under fast-paced deadlines.

• Adaptability to changing task priorities as the grand opening date approaches, including working weekends and holidays.

• Residing in Tacloban or nearby areas.

• Can start immediately.
