About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Room Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at Azalea Hotels & Residences Baguio. This is a full-time position based in Baguio City, Benguet, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. As a Room Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that every guest room meets our exacting standards, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to company standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising all surfaces
• Change bed linens and ensure all bedding is fresh, wrinkle-free and properly arranged
• Restock bathrooms with fresh towels, toiletries and supplies
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any damage or maintenance issues to management
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or assistance
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a sanitary environment
• Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas and cleaning schedules
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Room Housekeeper or in a similar housekeeping role within a hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining consistently high cleaning standards.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended period.
• Knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Reliability and punctuality with a positive attitude towards work.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends as required.
• Certification or training in housekeeping or hospitality services is preferred but not essential.
