Job summary

The Peninsula Manila is seeking a passionate Hotel Technician to maintain high standards of facility operations and guest satisfaction. You will ensure hotel equipment, guest rooms and public areas are in excellent working condition through inspections, repairs, and preventive programs.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong technical expertise, proactive teamwork, clear communication, and flexibility to handle maintenance emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or relevant education in electrical or mechanical trades.
• 2-5 years of relevant hotel maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems incl. electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire protection.
• Excellent troubleshooting with minimal disruption to guests and operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Respond promptly to guest room and property maintenance requests.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors on repair and improvement projects.

In this role, He/She will ensure that all hotel equipment, guest rooms, and public areas are kept in excellent working condition through regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs. Key Accountabilities

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
• Support hotel operations by collaborating with team members and contractors on repair and improvement projects

General Requirements

• Technical Certification or Relevant Education. Has a Training about Electrical or Mechanical course
• Minimum 2-5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Strong Knowledge of Building Systems. Proficient in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, fire protection, and preventive maintenance systems
• Excellent Troubleshooting and Repair Skills. Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues with minimal disruption to hotel operations and guest comfort
• Has a Guest Service Orientation
