Job summary

UNITED GLOBAL MANPOWER RESOURCES, INC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a hotel in the Philippines. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems to ensure guest comfort and safety.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC issues, and coordinate urgent repairs with supervisors. A minimum of 3 years’ experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience.
• Must be a high school graduate.
• Knowledgeable in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues.
• Familiar with the operation and maintenance of hotel facilities and building systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Physically fit for manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure that facilities and equipment remain in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, air-conditioning, and mechanical issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair concerns reported by hotel guests and staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, restrooms, and other hotel facilities for maintenance issues.
• Repair or replace damaged fixtures, furniture, lights, switches, faucets, pipes, doors, locks, and other components as needed.
• Monitor and maintain electrical, water, plumbing, air-conditioning, and other building systems.
• Ensure that maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies are properly used, stored, and maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, inspections, and equipment conditions.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments regarding maintenance requirements and urgent repairs.
• Follow proper safety procedures and comply with hotel health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and free from potential hazards.
