Job summary

Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead all safety and security operations for our hotel and resort. You will design and enforce security policies, manage a team, and coordinate with local authorities to protect guests, staff, and assets.

The role requires a strong background in security management within hospitality, effective incident investigation, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Law Enforcement, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in security management, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of security systems, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
• Experience in incident investigation and report preparation.
• Licensed Criminologist or relevant security certifications are an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and report writing.
• Willing to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures for the hotel and resort.
• Supervise and manage security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property at all times.
• Conduct security inspections, risk assessments, and audits of the premises.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, thefts, and security breaches, and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency response agencies as needed.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment.
• Develop and implement emergency preparedness and crisis management plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct security awareness and safety training for employees.
