Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead all safety and security operations for our hotel and resort. You will design and enforce security policies, manage a team, and coordinate with local authorities to protect guests, staff, and assets.
The role requires a strong background in security management within hospitality, effective incident investigation, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Security Manager to oversee the safety and security operations of our hotel and resort. The Security Manager will be responsible for protecting guests, employees, visitors, company assets, and facilities by implementing effective security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures for the hotel and resort.
Supervise and manage security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property at all times.
Conduct regular security inspections, risk assessments, and audits of the premises.
Investigate incidents, accidents, thefts, and security breaches, and prepare detailed reports.
Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency response agencies when necessary.
Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment.
Develop and implement emergency preparedness and crisis management plans.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct security awareness and safety training for employees.
Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in security management, preferably in the hospitality, hotel, or resort industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of security systems, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
Experience in incident investigation and report preparation.
Licensed Criminologist or relevant security certifications are an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report writing.
Willing to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and supervisory abilities.
Customer service-oriented with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
