Job summary

Solaire Resort in Manila seeks a detail-oriented Reservations professional to manage room and restaurant bookings via emails, calls, and central systems. You will coordinate with sales offices, departments, and travel agents, ensuring accurate rate determinations and timely modifications.

The role requires strong English communication, knowledge of hotel facilities, and a proactive approach to guest inquiries. Familiarity with PABX and hotel software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Reservations or Call center roles within the hotel industry is advantageous.
• Have knowledge of hotel facilities and services.
• Initiative, organized and detail-oriented; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English; knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process room and restaurant reservations through emails, telephone, or central reservation systems.
• Handle reservations from sales offices, other hotel departments, and travel agents.
• Determine room rates based on hotel selling tactics and policies.
• Handle cancellations and modifications promptly and accurately.
• Track room availabilities and assist in forecasting revenue and occupancy.
• Prepare expected arrival list and assist in pre-registration activities.
• Handle daily correspondence and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of reservation procedures and departmental standards.
• Coordinate wake up call requirements with relevant hotel departments.
• Familiarize with PABX and hotel systems/applications.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, F&B outlets, and events to guests.
• Possess knowledge of available room types, locations, layouts, rates, packages, and promotions.
