About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitality Associate to join our vibrant team at our venue in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest experiences within our bar and beverage operations. As a Hospitality Associate, you will be the face of Select Goods, ensuring every guest interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and creates memorable moments that encourage repeat visits.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverages and menu offerings based on guest preferences and requirements
• Take and process guest orders efficiently and accurately, maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Prepare and serve beverages to the highest standards, following Select Goods' specifications and quality guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work stations, tables, and service areas throughout your shift
• Handle cash and card transactions securely and accurately, reconciling payments at the end of service
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and courtesy
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and support colleagues during peak service times
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to bar and beverage service
• Contribute to inventory management by reporting stock levels and assisting with ordering procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in hospitality, bar service, or customer-facing roles, preferably in a similar environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Excellent customer service orientation and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, carry items, and move around a busy service area
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to full-time availability
• Knowledge of beverage types, preparation methods, and cocktail basics is advantageous
• Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and handling payments
• Positive attitude, teamwork capability, and willingness to learn and develop within the role
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in food and beverage service
