Job description

Serve as a dedicated Support Advisor who ensures a positive and seamless homeschooling experience for assigned families and students. Provide timely parent and student support, maintain accurate enrollment and academic records, facilitate parent trainings and student engagement activities, and collaborate with the team to address concerns and improve program processes.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Parent Experience (Advisor Support)

• Ensures accurate necessary passwords and access credentials provided to the
• assigned families upon sending Welcome Email.
• Ensure the accuracy of students' enrolled courses in the online curriculum portal.
• Serve as a support advisor for 200 assigned students during a specific school year.
• Respond to tickets, emails, messages via the HG Connect App, and family calls
• within 24 hours as per the service level agreement (SLA).
• Facilitates Homeschool 102 training breakout room and other program-related
• parent trainings within the school year
• Engage with families through consultations held twice weekly, either one-on-one or in groups, lasting 15 minutes to 1 hour.
• Acts as the BGC Hub Advisor for the day once a month.

B. Student Success (Teacher Roles)

• Facilitates the monthly Tech Circle based on the theme of the month.
• Participate quarterly in Community Day Out events, in collaboration with the Community Team and other organization-wide activities.
• Team Excellence (Admin Roles)
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of students' grades and academic records before sending the end-of-year congratulatory email.
• Support the program lead in optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Escalate student and parent concerns to the Program Lead or Program Manager when necessary.
