The Partnership Development Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening strategic partnerships that support student programs, enrichment classes, sponsorship opportunities, and career development initiatives. The role focuses on building relationships with external partners, including enrichment class providers, instructors, businesses, schools, organizations, and industry partners to create meaningful opportunities and high-quality experiences for students.
The Partnership Development Coordinator combines business development, marketing, and relationship management skills to identify potential partners, negotiate collaborations, coordinate partnership activities, and ensure successful implementation aligned with the organization's mission, values, and student development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Partnership Development and Relationship Management
- Identify, research, and establish potential partnerships with:
- Enrichment class instructors and providers
- Educational organizations and schools
- Corporate partners and industry organizations
- Sponsorship partners
- Work immersion and internship partners
- Community and professional networks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners.
- Manage partnership pipelines, outreach activities, follow-ups, and partnership documentation.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and partnership discussions with external stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
II. Enrichment Classes and Program Partnerships
- Source qualified instructors, organizations, and providers for enrichment classes aligned with student interests and program goals.
Evaluate potential partners based on:
- Qualifications and expertise
- Alignment with organizational values
- Operational requirements
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new class providers, including requirements, agreements, schedules, and implementation plans.
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives for enrichment classes and student programs.
- Monitor partner performance, student feedback, and satisfaction ratings to ensure continuous improvement.
III. Sponsorship and Business Development
- Develop sponsorship opportunities with companies, organizations, and brands that support student programs and events.
- Create partnership proposals, sponsorship decks, and presentations tailored to potential partners.
- Identify mutually beneficial opportunities that provide value to both the organization and external partners.
- Support sponsorship negotiations, agreements, deliverables, and relationship management.
- Maintain a database of potential and existing sponsors and business partners.
IV. Work Immersion and Industry Partnerships
- Build partnerships with companies, institutions, and organizations for student work immersion, internships, career exposure, and industry learning opportunities.
- Coordinate with companies and schools to establish structured immersion opportunities.
- Ensure partnership agreements, requirements, schedules, and expectations are properly documented.
- Support students, families, and partners throughout the work immersion process.
- Gather feedback from students and partner organizations to improve future programs.
V. Marketing and Partnership Promotion
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop partnership campaigns, announcements, and promotional materials.
Support the creation of marketing collateral such as:
- Partnership proposals
- Sponsorship packages
- Partner presentations
- Social media partnership features
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities to identify potential partnerships.
- Represent the organization in networking events, partner meetings, and community engagements.
VI. Partnership Operations and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of partnerships, contracts, proposals, communications, and deliverables.
Track partnership performance through:
- Revenue opportunities
- Feedback and satisfaction data
- Program outcomes
- Prepare regular partnership reports and updates for leadership.
- Ensure partnership activities comply with organizational policies, standards, and values.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering insights and recommendations from partners.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Management, Education, Hospitality Management, or related fields.
- Background in business development, sales, marketing, partnerships, account management, or relationship management is preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in:
- Partnership management
- Sales or account management
- Marketing and client relations
- Corporate partnerships
- Education partnerships or program coordination
- Experience handling external stakeholders, vendors, organizations, or corporate clients.
- Experience developing proposals, presentations, and partnership agreements.
- Experience in managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
