Job summary

APW Tech seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support IT solution implementation, system integration, data migration, and QA. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, vendors, and QA teams to ensure requirements are documented, tested, and implemented successfully.

The candidate will review backlogs, FSDs, and SDDs, assist in data migration and testing, and participate in UAT. Strong English communication and a track record in banking/financial services are preferred.

Qualifications

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support IT solution implementation, system integration, data migration, and quality assurance. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and QA teams to ensure business requirements are properly documented, tested, and successfully implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and validate business requirements and user stories with stakeholders.

• Review project deliverables, including Product Backlogs, Functional Specifications Documents (FSD), and Solution Design Documents (SDD).

• Support data migration, data quality checks, and system integrations.

• Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.

• Participate in system testing, integration testing, performance testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Monitor defects and coordinate with vendors and QA teams for issue resolution.

• Assist in preparing training materials, deployment plans, and go-live documentation.

• Support system deployment, knowledge transfer, and transition to production support.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of Business Analysis experience, including 3 years in a senior BA role.

• At least 5 years of experience in banking or financial services.

• At least 5 years of experience in solution design, business process documentation, and IT application testing.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodology, project management lifecycle, and system development lifecycle.

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

• Familiarity with risk management, compliance platforms, and due diligence databases such as World-Check, LexisNexis, or Dow Jones Risk & Compliance is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
