Job summary

SM Retail Inc. is seeking an IT Business Analyst – Digital Solutions to connect business needs with technology and translate ideas into practical, user-friendly digital products. You will work closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to define requirements and support delivery from discovery to testing.

You will ensure requirements are understood, documented, and translated into solutions delivering real business value across digital platforms and enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Product Delivery, IT Solution Delivery, or a related role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Experience working on digital platforms, mobile applications, CRM, loyalty platforms, or enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Analyze business processes, pain points, and opportunities and identify areas where technology can improve efficiency and user experience.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and maintain key project documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Requirements Specifications Documents (RSD), process flows, and user stories.
• Develop Gherkin scenarios and acceptance criteria to help QA teams validate system functionality.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, UI/UX Designers, and other technology teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
