The Healthcare Risk & Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing core compliance operations and supporting global privacy, regulatory and revenue cycle compliance programs. This role helps ensure adherence to U.S. healthcare regulations, internal policies and service level agreements while enabling efficient, high-quality compliance workflows in a Global Business Services environment.
Support global Compliance, Privacy, Regulatory and Revenue Cycle Compliance teams through centralized operational activities
Coordinate intake, tracking, follow-up and closure of compliance, HR and helpline cases using systems such as Symplr and ServiceNow
Perform exclusion screening activities including validation against sanction databases, documentation of results and escalation of potential risks
Create, maintain and validate compliance documentation including provider records, attestations, reports and audit files in SharePoint and related systems
Generate reports, dashboards and metrics to support compliance monitoring, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Support policy lifecycle activities including biannual reviews, workflow updates, documentation and training administration
Maintain compliance and privacy intranet content, reference materials and departmental records
Monitor corrective action plans, track progress and ensure timely follow-through to resolution
Collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, triage regulatory inquiries and address operational compliance issues
Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives across compliance and regulatory operations
2+ years of experience in healthcare compliance required
Knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems required
Knowledge of U.S. healthcare laws preferred
Knowledge of Data Privacy Act of 2012 in the Philippines preferred
Experience in global shared services or business process outsourcing environments preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Allied Health Administration, Business Administration or related field required
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) – Health Care Compliance Association preferred
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder coordination
Ability to manage multiple workflows and meet service level agreements
Proficiency in systems such as Symplr, SharePoint and ServiceNow
