Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in insurance verification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with insurance verification processes and healthcare terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• Consistent attendance and adherence to assigned work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-ups with insurance companies to obtain required information.
• Perform thorough insurance verification using established processes.
• Enter, update, and maintain data with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM and 90% accuracy.
• Navigate and utilize multiple insurance portals efficiently.
• Manage multiple assignments and projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Apply healthcare terminology to insurance verification and documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally through verbal and written interactions.
• Organize and prioritize workloads, demonstrate initiative, and work independently.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
