This position will provide overall leadership for the Sea Logistics function within the Global Services organization in Cebu. The role will support the continued expansion of the operation by translating the global Sea Logistics operating model into local execution and ensuring that processes, people, and service delivery are aligned with organizational objectives.
The successful candidate will be a strong people leader and business partner with solid knowledge of international sea freight operations, coupled with the ability to manage complex stakeholders across global and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational direction to the Sea Logistics team, setting the standard for leadership, accountability, and service excellence.
- Oversee the financial performance of the function, ensuring effective cost management and adherence to established transfer pricing principles.
- Partner with global process owners and regional stakeholders to drive consistency and harmonization of operational processes.
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to improve service quality, productivity, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure that operational activities are executed in accordance with established corporate and regional policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Lead the implementation and migration of processes in accordance with the organization's expansion and transition roadmap.
- Build a strong talent pipeline by coaching and developing team members, recognizing high-potential employees, addressing performance gaps, and establishing succession coverage for key roles.
- Collaborate with global and regional process leaders to evaluate, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure employees receive appropriate onboarding, process training, and ongoing capability development within required timelines.
- Establish a strong performance management culture through regular monitoring of operational results, KPI tracking, and management reporting.
- Maintain clear, timely, and proactive communication with employees, process owners, regional teams, peers, and senior leadership.
- Ensure process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs remain current, accurate, and aligned with applicable quality, safety, security, and environmental standards.
- Strengthen collaboration between the Global Services operation and regional operational teams, identifying opportunities for closer integration where appropriate.
- Identify processes suitable for digitalization or automation and work closely with relevant technology and automation teams to implement solutions.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and the adoption of proven practices across other Global Services locations supporting Sea Logistics.

- Participate in international business meetings, workshops, and related activities, with approximately 10% travel expected.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of leadership experience, preferably managing large or multi-functional teams.
- 2-5 years of experience working in an international or global environment.
- Project management experience is preferred, particularly in transformation, transition, or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding and sea logistics operations is highly desirable.
- Exposure to business systems, digital solutions, or process automation is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and deliver multiple initiatives effectively.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze operational performance and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across different levels and geographies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant logistics/business systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural, and matrixed organization.
