Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end operations across planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing and logistics, ensuring product availability and optimized costs.

The role requires 8–12+ years in supply chain with 3–5 years in leadership, and a strong track record in end-to-end SCM across multiple sites or large organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 8-12+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, planning, inventory, or related functions.
• At least 3-5 years in a managerial or senior leadership capacity.
• Strong experience in end-to-end supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
• Lead the overall supply chain function across planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics and distribution.
• Provide strategic recommendations on supply chain capabilities, risks and opportunities.
• Oversee demand planning and forecasting to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Develop supply plans based on demand forecasts, historical trends, and inventory levels.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify gaps between projected and actual demand.
• Oversee procurement activities and ensure timely sourcing of materials and other requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, lead time, reliability and service levels.
• Establish and monitor inventory policies and controls across warehouses and locations.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance availability with working capital and storage costs.
• Analyze inventory turnover and identify opportunities to improve stock utilization.
• Oversee warehouse and distribution operations for efficient movement and storage of goods.
• Monitor warehouse capacity, utilization, productivity and operating costs.
• Ensure proper inventory handling, storage, picking, packing and dispatch processes.
• Review existing supply chain processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization and efficiency improvements.
• Lead cross-functional projects to reduce costs, improve productivity, and strengthen service levels.
• Implement best practices in demand planning, inventory management, procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
• Lead, coach and develop the supply chain team; set performance expectations and development goals.
