Job summary

PM Consulting in Cebu City is seeking a seasoned Sea Logistics leader to translate the global operating model into local execution. You will lead a multi-functional team, drive cost control, and ensure scalable service delivery for international sea freight operations.

You will partner with global process owners, drive continual process improvements, and develop talent in a fast-growing region while balancing global standards with regional realities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of leadership experience, preferably managing large or multi-functional teams.
• 2-5 years of experience working in an international or global environment.
• Project management experience, transformation, transition, or process improvement.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding and sea logistics operations.
• Exposure to business systems, digital solutions, or process automation.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and deliver multiple initiatives effectively.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze operational performance and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across different levels and geographies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant logistics/business systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural, and matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational direction to the Sea Logistics team.
• Oversee financial performance and cost management for the function.
• Partner with global process owners and regional stakeholders to harmonize processes.
• Evaluate processes to improve service quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure activities align with corporate policies and service standards.
• Lead implementation and migration of processes per expansion roadmap.
• Build a strong talent pipeline through coaching and succession planning.
• Collaborate with process leaders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure onboarding and ongoing capability development for employees.
• Establish performance management culture with KPI tracking and reporting.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and leadership.
• Keep process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs current.
