Job summary

Bureau Veritas is seeking an Operations Head in the Philippines to lead and oversee renewable energy project delivery, ensuring profitability, quality, safety, and client satisfaction across solar, wind, BESS, and transmission. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and drive operational excellence in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, engineering consultancy, inspection, testing, certification, or project management services.
• At least 7 years of senior leadership experience managing large-scale operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong experience in Solar PV, Wind, BESS, Power Generation and Transmission, and Owners Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and ensure successful delivery of renewable energy projects.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
• Establish operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
• Oversee project planning, mobilization, execution, and completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with client requirements.
• Manage project risks, resources, schedules, and operational challenges.
• Support project teams in resolving technical and commercial issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, project developers, utilities, EPC contractors, and regulators.
• Ensure client satisfaction and service excellence.
• Support business development through technical and operational input.
• Manage operational budgets and resource planning.
• Monitor profitability, utilization, and financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational improvements.
• Support contract review, project forecasting, and revenue planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
