Job summary

vertexsolutions seeks a Project Director to lead a portfolio of development-stage renewable energy projects in the Philippines, guiding them from development through financial close, construction and into operations.

You will head a small in-country team and coordinate with investors, regulators and partners on commercial strategy, contracts management and risk oversight.

This is a senior, commercially oriented role offering ownership of the portfolio and a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Significant renewable energy or infrastructure project development experience in Southeast Asia or the Philippines
• Proven track record taking projects through FID, construction and into operation
• Experience leading and developing a small in-country team
• Exposure to investor-backed environments or investment committees

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritise a portfolio of development-stage projects in the Philippines toward investment readiness
• Own commercial structuring and value creation across the portfolio, including offtake strategy and contracting frameworks
• Lead contracts management across the project lifecycle with landowners, grid operators and contractors
• Prepare projects for FID, coordinating due diligence and investment approvals with senior leadership and investors
• Oversee transition from development to construction, keeping commercial and contractual continuity
• Maintain schedule and cost oversight through construction into operations with delivery leads
• Build and manage relationships with permitting authorities, regulators, lenders and partners
• Represent projects to senior leadership and investment committees and support governance
