Job summary

Formative Search is partnering with a global renewable energy developer to recruit a Head of Development for their Manila platform. You will lead the greenfield development program, taking utility-scale solar and onshore wind projects from origination through ready-to-build.

You will build and manage the in-country development team and work with regional leadership to originate and deliver a growing pipeline.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in energy sector with renewable project development in the Philippines.
• Track record taking utility-scale solar or wind projects to RTB.
• Established relationships with PH regulators, grid stakeholders and LGUs.
• Experience leading and developing a development team.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused in a lean growth platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead greenfield development program in the Philippines from origination to ready-to-build.
• Grow and manage the in-country development team.
• Build relationships with local government units, DOE, ERC, grid stakeholders and landowners.
• Prepare business cases and project updates for internal approvals.
• Collaborate with land, technical, finance and legal teams to move projects quickly.
