Job summary

Solar Pacific is seeking a Project Development Officer to drive end-to-end renewable energy project development in the Philippines, including origination, permitting, land acquisition, and financing. You will coordinate across Legal, Engineering, Finance, and Permitting to align timelines and ensure successful financial close.

The role requires managing land access, regulatory approvals, and offtake negotiations, while engaging with LGUs, DOEs, NGCP, and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, Environmental Science or related field.
• Professional Engineer license is a plus.
• Experience in project development, business development, or investment in energy/infrastructure.
• Demonstrated track record in renewable energy project development through financial close or NTP.
• Familiarity with Philippine regulatory agencies and LGUs for project development.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end renewable energy project development from origination to financial close.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Legal, Engineering, Finance, Permitting.
• Manage land acquisition, ROW, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop offtake strategies and negotiate PSAs/PPAs with counterparties.
• Coordinate lender due diligence and project finance documentation.
• Maintain investor-ready project profiles and data rooms.
• Represent Solar Pacific in LGU dialogues and interagency meetings.
