Job summary

Intro Recruitment Asia is seeking a Project Development Officer for a well-established renewable energy firm in Makati. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, coordinating regulatory processes, and leading development from concept to NTP.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in project development within energy sectors, knowledge of Philippine regulations (DOE, NGCP, RA 9513 and RA 9136), and hands-on experience with land acquisition and financing milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical) or related fields.
Master's degree in environmental management, MBA, Energy Management, or Public Policy is an advantage.
Jurist Doctor Degree is an advantage.
Professional Engineer (PRC-licensed) designation is a plus for engineering backgrounds.
3–5 years of experience in project development, business development, or investment in energy/infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and qualify new renewable energy project opportunities (solar, BESS, hybrid) aligned with company strategy and policy directions.
Conduct preliminary site assessments, resource analysis, and high-level feasibility evaluations to determine project viability.
Prepare project origination briefs and investment screening memos for management review.
Monitor DOE bid rounds, CSAs, and GEAP timelines; position the company for strategic participation.
Lead project development activities from concept through Notice to Proceed (NTP) and manage development workstreams.
