The Head of Professional Channel (Commercial Leader) is accountable for business performance within the assigned region. This role drives market share and sales growth, customer excellence, and organizational transformation in Philippines in line with Signify global strategy.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Translates global ambitions into regional or business-specific priorities, in order to achieve financial and operational targets, including sales, margin, working capital, etc.
• Builds and maintains top-to-top relationships with strategic customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Drives market share gains, portfolio mix improvement, and cost efficiency.
• Promotes partnerships with ecosystem players — distributors, integrators, specifiers, and digital partners — to strengthen market positioning.
• Drives commercial excellence and productivity across sales, marketing, and customer operations.
• Owns customer satisfaction, brand preference, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvement across all channels.
• Drives adoption of digital tools and data insights to improve sales effectiveness, forecasting, and service quality.
• Ensures commercial governance, risk management, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversees all commercial operations in the business or cluster, ensuring alignment, speed, and efficiency. Leverages digital systems and tools to strengthen process transparency and accountability
• Ensures rigorous operational cadence — including financial planning, forecasting, funnel management, customer visits, and performance reviews of the organizations reporting to the Commercial Leader.
• Optimizes organizational design to balance agility, scalability, and cost effectiveness.
• Drives capability building across commercial, technical, and digital domains. Provides regular coaching and feedback to its direct reports.
• Ensures full compliance with corporate governance, company policies, Integrity Code and health & safety standards.
• Represents the company in industry associations, government forums, and public platforms, enhancing Signify’s brand and reputation.

Critical Experiences

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, providing a robust foundation in commercial strategy, leadership, and business acumen.
• Extensive experience in the B2B Sales Ecosystem in the Philippines, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and navigating the unique dynamics of the local market.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in commercial leadership roles, encompassing P&L ownership, market strategy development, execution, and managing complex customer relationships across diverse industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in people management, with hands‑on experience leading and aligning multidisciplinary teams in sales, marketing, and technical domains to achieve organizational goals in a collaborative and results‑driven environment.
• Strong background in managing complex sales cycles, including consultative selling approaches and solution‑based strategies tailored to high‑value customers and corporate accounts.
• Relevant certifications in sales management, commercial strategy, or digital transformation, validating expertise in driving innovative initiatives and achieving competitive advantage in evolving market landscapes.
