Head of Logistics & Supply Chain
About the Role
We're a growing retail group seeking a Head of Logistics & Supply Chain to own the full flow of goods, from supplier to shelf to customer. You'll build scalable logistics foundations that support the launch and growth of multiple retail brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the logistics and supply chain strategy, tracking service levels, lead times, inventory accuracy, and logistics costs
- Run international freight by sea, air, and courier, including customs clearance, import compliance, and landed cost control
- Manage 3PL warehouses and plan for future distribution centers, covering receiving, storage, inventory control, cycle counts, and dispatch
- Work with Merchandising and Operations on replenishment, stock cover, store-to-store transfers, and markdown and end-of-season clearance
- Keep stores stocked on time and accurately, and lead opening inventory for new store launches
- Build fulfilment processes for e-commerce and omnichannel, along with returns and reverse logistics
- Drive ERP, retail, and warehouse system integration and develop dashboards for data-driven decisions
- Manage forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners through clear SLAs and regular performance reviews
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 10 years in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or distribution
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within retail, consumer goods, fashion, FMCG, or distribution
- Proven track record in international freight, customs clearance, and importation
- Hands-on experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of ERP, inventory management, and retail systems
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
