Job summary

Hanwha Vision Mexico is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our accounting and financial operations in Mexico. You will oversee accounting close, tax compliance, financial reporting, cash flow monitoring, reconciliations, audits, and coordination with local stakeholders and Headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience managing monthly close and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP is highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under strict reporting deadlines.
• Experience in a multinational company is desirable.
• English proficiency for international reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute accounting operations with accurate entries and proper use of accounts and cost centers.
• Lead the monthly accounting close and ensure timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican accounting and tax regulations including federal, local, and social security obligations.
• Review tax calculations, declarations, payments, and supporting docs.
• Prepare financial reports for local management and Headquarters (cash flow, forecasts, consolidation, annual planning).
• Monitor cash flow and bank balances in MXN and USD.
• Manage bank reconciliations and weekly payments for Mexico and LATAM expenses.
• Review payroll incidences, taxes, withholdings, and salary-related calculations.
• Support audits and ensure accounting information is accurate and well documented.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments and Headquarters for timely financial information.
