Job summary

Uma Nota Philippines Inc. is seeking a Guest Experience & Service professional to deliver warm, genuine hospitality from arrival to departure. You will guide guests through the menu, anticipate needs, and handle concerns with professionalism.

In this role, you will take and input orders into the POS, serve in proper sequence, work with kitchen and bar for smooth service, and actively upsell items to contribute to outlet targets while maintaining standards and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, genuine, and personalized service to guests from arrival to departure.
• Guide guests through the menu, making recommendations confidently (food, beverages, specials).
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Accurately take and input orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages following proper sequence and timing.
• Ensure correct table setup and maintenance throughout the dining experience.
• Monitor table progress and coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth service flow.
• Execute proper clearing, crumbing, and resetting of tables.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the full menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
• Work closely with Floor Captains, Hosts, Bar, and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support teammates during peak periods and maintain service standards.
• Communicate clearly with all departments.
• Follow all service procedures and SOPs (Cycle of Service, billing, service recovery, etc.).
• Ensure accuracy in billing and payment handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service stations.
• Adhere to grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards at all times.
• Actively promote menu items, specials, and experiences (e.g., chef’s menu).
• Maximize guest spend through thoughtful and appropriate upselling.
• Contribute to outlet sales targets.
