Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; hospitality-related education is an advantage.
• Previous waiter/waitress/server experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Courteous, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays when required.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Honest, reliable, responsible and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests to their tables and provide menus when necessary.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them properly to the kitchen or bar.
• Provide guests with accurate information about menu items, ingredients, promotions, and recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to restaurant standards.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and respond to their requests or concerns.
• Maintain proper table arrangement, cleanliness, and sanitation at all times.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently after guests leave.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately when required.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, cashier, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Handle customer complaints politely and report serious concerns to the supervisor or manager.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor dining areas and ensure that restaurant standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparation of the dining area.
• Ensure all restaurant equipment, utensils, and service items are properly handled and maintained.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
