Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a guest-focused server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will welcome guests, present menus, upsell signature dishes, and ensure an exceptional dining experience from arrival to departure.

The role involves bar operations, cashiering, reservations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. Fluency in English and team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably College Graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related course.
• At least 1 year experience in the same position in an Integrated Resort/5-star or International Property.
• Leadership: People management
• Technical: Proficient in MS Office applications
• Technical: Gadget and related Electronics Know-How
• Technical: Sound Knowledge of Cuisine, Beverages and Wine
• Oral and written fluency in English
• Good understanding of local languages
• Foreign language correspondence is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies by applying Forbes Standard, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintains grooming, hygiene, and presentability as per standards.
• Keeps front-of-house and back-of-house tidy and stocked for prompt service.
• Handles reservations, inquiries, calls, walk-ins, vouchers, and admin tasks.
• Performs server duties: welcomes guests, presents menu, upsells items.
• Provides cashiering: handles payments and billing accurately.
• Maintains inventories of food, bar, and non-food items.
• Operates bar: set up, stock, inventories, and breakage control.
• Prepares non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages to standard quality.
• Expedites orders, ensures correct delivery and minimal guest complaints.
• Ensures accurate billing and payments.
