Job summary

Concepcion Durables, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Engineer to ensure all local and imported products meet government standards such as PNS IEC 62552:2016 and IEC 60335.

You will coordinate with BPS, DOE, and testing bodies, prepare test reports and licenses, and manage audit schedules and documentation under tight deadlines. Occasional extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical or Industrial disciplines.
• Familiar with government compliance standards and certification processes (e.g., BPS, DOE).
• Proficiency in technical drawing and documentation (AutoCAD, Solid Edge).
• Strong data management and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate audits and ensure timely preparation of compliance materials.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with government sectors such as BPS and DOE on performance and safety requirements and standards.
• Coordinate and schedule annual surveillance and audits with BPS and private testing bodies.
• Prepare test sample units and required documents for audits and energy-related licenses.
• Prepare necessary documents for government compliance (Test Reports, PS Licenses, Energy Guides).
• Coordinate corrective actions for non-compliant products and monitor testing status.

About the role

Ensure all current products (local & imported) are compliant to government standards, including Performance Standard PNS IEC 62552:2016 and Product Safety Standard IEC 60335.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with government sectors such as BPS (Bureau of Philippine Standards) and DOE (Department of Energy) on performance and safety requirements and standards




• Communicate with BPS and Private testing bodies for on time annual surveillance schedule on QMS audit, performance and safety test as required




• Prepare test sample units picked for audit for both local and imported current models




• Communicate with DOE on application for annual revalidation of energy guides




• Monitor status of current product testing




• Prepare necessary documents for government compliance (Test Reports, PS Licenses, and Energy Guides)




• Coordinate and undertake corrective actions as necessary for non-compliant products

About you

• Engineering graduate in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical and/or Industrial disciplines




• Experience in AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and Microsoft Office




• Knowledge of government compliance standards and certification processes (e.g., BPS, DOE)




• Proficiency in technical drawing and documentation (AutoCAD, Solid Edge)




• Strong data management and reporting skills




• Ability to coordinate audits and ensure timely preparation of compliance materials




• Problem-solving ability for addressing non-conformance issues




• Can work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment




• Willing to work extended hours and occasional weekends for urgent compliance activities
