Job summary

JJ Grand Premium Fruits is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure operations meet applicable laws and internal policies. The role requires monitoring FDA, DENR, LGU, BIR, SEC compliance, maintaining permits, and coordinating inspections.

The ideal candidate holds a 2–5 year track record in compliance or regulatory affairs within food manufacturing, with strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills. Travel to company facilities may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Accountancy, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • Experience of 2–5 years in compliance, regulatory affairs, food manufacturing, quality assurance, or related field.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and regulatory documentation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with FDA, DENR, LGU, BIR, SEC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update all government permits, licenses, registrations, certificates, and regulatory documents.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA requirements including product registration, LTO, GMP, food safety requirements, labeling, and other FDA regulations.
  • Coordinate with government agencies regarding inspections, applications, renewals, submissions, and compliance concerns.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports, documents, applications, and compliance filings within deadlines.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and policies that may affect company operations.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and inspections and identify areas of non-compliance.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for identified compliance gaps.
  • Maintain an organized and updated compliance monitoring system and regulatory calendar.
  • Assist during government inspections and audits including FDA inspections.
  • Prepare responses, explanations, and supporting documents for regulatory findings, notices, and observations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping of permits, licenses, inspection reports, certificates, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Provide management with regular updates on the company’s compliance status, risks, and pending requirements.
  • Conduct compliance orientations and awareness activities for employees when necessary.
  • Perform other compliance-related duties as assigned by management.

  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality management systems, and regulatory documentation is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of document control, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting.
  • Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to monitor multiple regulatory deadlines and requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work independently, conduct compliance monitoring, and coordinate effectively with different departments and government agencies.
  • Willing to conduct site inspections, attend government offices, and travel to company facilities or satellite plants when required.
