Job summary

VA Masters is seeking a GoHighLevel Automation and CRM Systems Specialist to build and optimize the backend of our GoHighLevel CRM. This hands-on role focuses on workflows, automations, funnels, integrations, and AI bot configuration—far from customer conversations.

You will turn a partially configured account into a clean, reliable, fully automated system, coordinating with stakeholders while maintaining high data standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on GoHighLevel experience with workflows, automations, pipelines, funnels, calendars.
• Strong CRM architecture knowledge: pipelines, stages, tags, triggers, and lead routing logic.
• Experience building automated email and SMS sequences from scratch.
• Knowledge of email deliverability basics: domain authentication, DNS, spam and link-safety checks.
• Experience wiring third-party tools via APIs, webhooks, or platforms like Zapier or Make.
• Experience connecting paid ad platforms (Facebook/Meta) to a CRM for lead capture.
• Ability to configure AI chatbots or conversation AI within a CRM setup.
• Discretion handling confidential customer information; dependable and self-directed.
• Strong communication to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and sharpen end-to-end GoHighLevel workflows and automations across the customer journey.
• Configure automated email and SMS sequences triggered by booking events, intake forms and privacy/consent documents.
• Create and hold reusable email, SMS, and form templates within the CRM.
• Diagnose and resolve email deliverability issues, domain authentication, sender reputation, and warnings.
• Configure and sharpen GoHighLevel AI/conversation bots so automated sequences carry on after a lead replies.
• Wire lead sources into the CRM pipeline (Facebook/Meta Ads, website forms, social platforms).
• Build and structure CRM pipelines, stages, tags, and lead routing from the ground up.
• Design funnels and landing pages and connect them to the existing website.
• Connect third-party scheduling software via integrations, webhooks, APIs, or automation platforms.
• Audit existing account setup and suggest improvements.
• Document systems and workflows for handover and maintenance.
