Job summary

Netflix is seeking an experienced Manager to lead the Manila-based Financial Reporting team and own end-to-end statutory financial statement preparation for a portfolio of Netflix entities. This role combines hands-on leadership with technical accounting oversight across IFRS/local GAAP and audits, coordinating with regional teams to scale the function globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
• CPA, CA or equivalent accounting qualification is required.
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong IFRS and/or local GAAP knowledge; experience with APAC/EMEA/LATAM GAAPs is a plus.
• Experience preparing end-to-end statutory financial statements and managing external audits.

• Provide strong leadership and day‑to‑day oversight for the Manila-based Financial Reporting team.

• Drive opportunities for process optimization, standardisation, and automation across the team’s financial reporting workflows.
• Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage team performance and delivery against priorities.
• Lead the strategic scaling of the Manila-based Financial Reporting team to meet global needs.
• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements for APAC Netflix entities and coordinate external audits.
• Partner cross-functionally with tax, finance, engineering and other teams to drive improvements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and document accounting issues as needed.
• Support period-end close activities with timely and accurate reporting.
