Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Staff to manage sourcing and purchasing of local and imported requirements for both trade and non-trade items. The role ensures timely procurement, quality management, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience with sourcing and purchasing trade and non-trade items is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle sourcing and purchasing of local and imported requirements for both trade and non-trade items.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to obtain best value.
• Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documents.
• Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier accreditation and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate import purchasing requirements and shipment schedules.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, and other departments regarding procurement requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Resolve supplier-related issues involving delays, quality, discrepancies, and billing.
