Job summary

Can Hua Enterprises Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating timely procurement from local and international suppliers. The role focuses on cost-effective buying, reliable supplier relationships, and maintaining smooth supply chain operations.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure stock availability, compliance with import/export rules, and accurate procurement documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 1 year experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in inventory and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Knowledge of inventory optimization and cost-control strategies.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas suppliers, manufacturers, and business partners.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate importation and shipping activities with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics partners.
• Monitor stock levels and purchasing requirements to ensure timely replenishment while avoiding stock shortages.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Resolve procurement issues, including pricing discrepancies, shipment delays, damaged goods, and supplier concerns.
• Research new suppliers, products, and market trends to identify cost-saving and sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, import/export regulations, and customs requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
• Prepare procurement reports, purchasing analyses, and cost-saving recommendations for management.
• Assist the inventory or warehouse team with stock monitoring and inventory-related tasks when required.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments to verify stock availability before initiating purchases.
• Provide procurement-related support during inventory reconciliation and stock replenishment activities.
