Job summary

SGS in the Philippines seeks an experienced procurement professional to execute and monitor tactical demand for materials, services, and supplies. The role emphasizes compliance with procurement policies, supplier negotiation, and collaboration with global/ regional teams to optimize spend.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, strong contract management knowledge, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of Procurement/Strategic Sourcing/Engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of contract management and supplier negotiations.
Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Maximo, Ariba, SAP) and ERP awareness.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with drive to deliver results.

Responsibilities

Execute procurement transactions and monitor tactical demand for materials, services and supplies for local use in Southeast Asia (Philippines).
Follow Cargill policies & guidelines on procurement and ensure compliance.
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best total cost of ownership and value.
Coordinate with category teams to consolidate demand and optimize spot buying where applicable.
Prepare price lists, validate regions, and support catalog automation with COE.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and report improvements per CSSP standards.
