Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum Philippines unit is seeking a Project Coordinator, Services to support onboarding, early engagement and service delivery readiness for North America-based clients. You will work with internal PMs, technical SMEs, and business leaders to ensure successful implementation handoff and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong organization, clear communication, experience coordinating across multicultural teams, and proficiency with Office tools and collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project coordination, project management, program coordination, or related experience
• Experience supporting international clients in a customer-facing capacity
• Experience working in multicultural/global teams across regions/time zones
• Experience identifying and resolving project readiness gaps through proactive communication
• Experience maintaining project plans, schedules, action trackers, risk/issue logs, status reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet or similar tools
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills for meetings and updates
• Ability to manage customer-facing activities and drive deliverables without direct authority
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive accountability for deliverables
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and meeting deadlines in fast-paced enviroment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer onboarding, early engagement, and service readiness from initiation through implementation handoff
• Serve as primary contact for North America-based customers and internal stakeholders
• Track implementation prerequisites including infrastructure readiness and training participation
• Identify readiness gaps and risks; partner with customers to develop mitigation plans
• Communicate priorities and timelines with urgency and professionalism
• Support project governance: plans, milestones, action items, risks/issues, status reports
• Facilitate early engagement meetings and document decisions
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports
• Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams within Services
• Support implementation readiness reviews and service delivery transition planning
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and operational efficiency
• Promote collaborative, customer-focused culture with internal/external partners
• Comply with employment terms and company policies and adapt to business needs
