Job summary

Optum is seeking a Project Coordinator, Services to support the onboarding and early engagement of North America-based customers. You will coordinate readiness activities across cross-functional teams and ensure timely implementation handoffs.

The role emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills in a multicultural environment, with exposure to healthcare technology and enterprise projects. A collaborative, customer-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project coordination, project management, program coordination, or related experience.
• Experience supporting international clients, customers, or stakeholders in a customer-facing capacity.
• Experience working in a multicultural or global team environment across regions/time zones.
• Experience identifying and resolving project or customer readiness gaps through proactive communication and coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer onboarding, early engagement, and service delivery readiness activities from initiation through implementation handoff.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for North America-based customers and internal stakeholders, building relations and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Track implementation prerequisites and readiness, including infrastructure, resources, training, and deliverables; identify gaps and mitigate delays.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, risk/issue logs, status reports, and documentation; facilitate meetings and decisions.
• Prepare and maintain project docs, dashboards, meeting minutes, and status reports per delivery standards.
