Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Procurement Contracting professional in the Philippines to draft and review procurement contracts and related legal documents with external parties. You will support procurement activities and help ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while gaining exposure to contract management tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB); or completed at least third year status in law school.
• At least two years of experience in contract review, legal assessment, and drafting.
• Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret and negotiate contractual language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn contract management and procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review procurement contracts and other legal documents between Manulife and external parties.
• Utilize and manage the systems and tools used during the procurement process.
• Provide contractual and administrative support during procurement activities.
• Assist with creating and maintaining standard procurement templates.
• Coordinate with internal Sourcing partners, SMEs, and other business partners to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate contract execution through the appropriate signing tools and ensure signatories comply with internal policies.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, business procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Perform legal research as needed to support contractual activities.
