Job summary

Manulife Procurement Contracting seeks a qualified lawyer to draft and review procurement agreements and related documents. You will collaborate with sourcing, legal, risk and business partners globally to ensure compliant, robust contracts and efficient processes.

Responsibilities include managing procurement templates, supporting contract execution with signing tools, and conducting legal research to support contracting activities. JD/LLB and 2+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

JD/LLB degree or nearing completion in law school.
2+ years of contract review, legal assessment and drafting.
Strong analytical, research and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Draft and review procurement contracts and related legal documents.
Use and manage systems and tools used during procurement process.
Provide contractual and administrative support during procurement activities.
Assist with creating and maintaining standard procurement templates.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
Facilitate contract signing and ensure policy adherence.
Conduct legal research to support contracting activities.
