Job summary

Arup is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join the Global Finance Shared Service team. Based in our Payroll Shared Service Centre, you will help deliver accurate payroll services for Arup members while ensuring statutory compliance and timely payments.

You will gain exposure to global payroll processing, including International Assignee payrolls, and work with stakeholders across a multinational organisation. This role offers broad learning opportunities and career development within Arup.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering accurate payroll processing
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data handling
• Ability to handle confidential payroll information with integrity

Responsibilities

• Collate and validate monthly pay changes for submission to the payroll vendor
• Ensure members are paid accurately and on time
• Respond to payroll queries from members
• Review and understand changes in payroll legislation
• Process statutory payments to tax authorities and non-statutory payments where applicable
• Support International Assignee payroll obligations
• Reconcile and post payroll journals
• Support internal and external audits
