Job summary

Arup in Manila seeks a Senior Payroll Advisor to join the Global Finance Shared Service team. You will help ensure members are paid accurately and on time while supporting compliance with statutory requirements in a complex, multinational payroll environment.

This role offers exposure to international assignee payrolls and opportunities to contribute as a payroll subject matter expert on cross‑functional projects.

Qualifications

• In-depth payroll processing experience.
• Experience working in a Shared Service Centre environment.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, processes and controls.
• Experience delivering payroll process improvements and documentation.
• Ability to manage confidential employee information with integrity.
• Experience with international assignments payroll advantageous; multinational exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collate and validate monthly changes for global payroll submission.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments per pay dates.
• Respond to payroll queries and resolve complex issues.
• Support statutory payments to tax authorities.
• Reconcile payroll journals and monthly loan accounts.
• Provide payroll training and share knowledge.
• Support internal and external audits and process improvements.
• Keep payroll documentation updated and compliant.
