Job summary

Macquarie is seeking a Payroll Associate in Manila to manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. You will be the main contact for payroll inquiries, resolving issues with a focus on customer service while aligning with local laws and company policies.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Reward, Global Mobility and external vendors, and contribute to SOP development and process improvements through automation and new technology

Qualifications

• Previous in-house payroll expertise (1-5 years) in a fast-paced environment; US/Canada payroll background is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience explaining complex information clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to embrace a learning mindset and develop new skills in process automation, data analysis, and technology
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to analyse processes and finding opportunities for improvement
• A collaborative approach, ability to take initiative and motivated to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned countries, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery.
• Act as primary point of contact for employee payroll enquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure payroll operations adhere to local legislation and company policies; identify risks and escalate as needed.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with HR, Finance, Reward, Global Mobility, and external payroll vendors.
• Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and opportunities to automate payroll processes.
• Contribute to payroll enhancement initiatives, system upgrades, and implementation of new technologies to improve efficiency.
