Paysend Group is hiring an Application Support Analyst to safeguard our real-time payment ecosystem. You will investigate transactions, detect anomalies, and drive resolutions across B2C and Enterprise channels. You will work with Oracle SQL, Postman, OpenSearch, and Grafana to trace issues and keep critical services up and running.

Qualifications

• Experience with collaboration tools and incident management processes across teams.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; fintech or payments familiarity is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving with ability to investigate and resolve issues independently.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple incidents under time pressure with SLA adherence.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with monitoring/alerting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the transaction flow and individual transactions using Oracle SQL, Postman, and OpenSearch.
• Maintain and monitor business-critical payment services.
• Interact with partners about transaction flows and issues.
• Investigate flagged transactions, document root-cause analyses, and update statuses.
• Examine pending payouts/funding older than 3 days and escalate when needed.
• Provide prompt incident response and produce detailed incident reports.
• Coordinate with other staff to resolve incidents.
• Communicate with partners/banks about issues on their side, including data corrections.
• Support SAR reconciliation issues, including mismatches and file-load failures.
• Monitor payment services health using Grafana and other tools; plan releases and rollbacks.
• Read API docs to troubleshoot partner integrations and assist troubleshooting.
• Ensure system health and dashboards reflect post-release status.
