Job summary

VESTAS SHARED SERVICE A/S in the Philippines seeks a senior Global Mobility professional to lead international assignments, including short- and long-term postings, relocations, and transfers.

You will partner with HR, payroll, tax, legal, and external mobility vendors to ensure compliant, high‑quality mobility programs and a positive employee experience across a multinational workforce. Strong advisory and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, evolving global environment.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in Global Mobility, Relocation or International HR with track record of managing international assignments.
  • End-to-end international assignment management including short/long-term assignments and transfers.
  • Experience with outsourced mobility models and external mobility vendors.
  • Solid understanding of global mobility compliance (PWD, A1, CoCs, immigration, social security, payroll).
  • Knowledge of expatriate compensation, tax equalization, and mobility policy administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to identify risks and craft practical solutions.
  • Excellent consulting, stakeholder management and customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and functions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for employees, managers, HR partners, and vendors on global mobility matters.
  • Manage end-to-end international assignments: initiation, policy review, cost estimates, relocation coordination, immigration support, payroll setup, repatriation.
  • Deliver a high-quality employee experience before, during, and after assignments.
  • Provide SME on mobility policies, benefits, and processes with consistent policy application.
  • Coordinate compliance activities: PWD, A1, CoC, immigration, and local registrations.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Tax, Finance, Legal, and external providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage assignment payroll instructions and compensation changes for compliance.
  • Administer expatriate compensation programs (allowances, COLA, housing, incentives).
  • Prepare assignment documents and communications; support annual compensation activities.
  • Monitor cases, provide status updates, and resolve issues to minimize impact.
  • Oversee vendor engagement (RMCs, immigration, tax, destination services, payroll partners).
  • Review mobility cost projections, budgets, and financial tracking for cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain mobility records and reporting within systems.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Support mobility projects and policy reviews within Global Mobility.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and governance standards.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Global Mobility, Relocation Services, International HR, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing international assignments and employee mobility programs.

  • Strong experience in end-to-end international assignment management, including short-term assignments, long-term assignments, permanent transfers, and international remote work arrangements.

  • Experience working within outsourced mobility models and managing relationships with external mobility vendors and service providers is preferred.

  • Solid understanding of global mobility compliance requirements, particularly within Europe, including Posted Worker Directive (PWD), A1 applications, Certificates of Coverage (CoC), immigration coordination, social security considerations, and assignment-related payroll implications.

  • Knowledge of expatriate compensation practices, tax equalization concepts, assignment allowances, and mobility policy administration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, anticipate challenges, and develop practical solutions in a complex environment.

  • Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a positive employee experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple functions, cultures, and levels of the organization.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex mobility concepts in a clear and concise manner.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and navigating changing business priorities with a structured and proactive approach.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experienced with HRIS, mobility management systems, and case management tools.

  • Experience working in a multinational environment and supporting geographically dispersed employee populations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities and Core Competencies:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR partners, and vendors on operational global mobility matters, providing guidance and support throughout the assignment lifecycle.

  • Manage end-to-end international assignments, including initiation, policy review, cost estimates, relocation coordination, immigration support, payroll setup, assignment maintenance, and repatriation processes.

  • Deliver a high-quality employee experience by proactively supporting assignees and their families before, during, and after international assignments.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on mobility policies, assignment benefits, relocation provisions, and mobility-related processes while ensuring consistent policy application.

  • Coordinate and monitor assignment-related compliance activities, including Posted Worker Directive (PWD) filings, A1 applications, Certificates of Coverage (CoC), immigration requirements, and local registration obligations.

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders including HR, Payroll, Tax, Finance, Legal, and external mobility providers to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Manage assignment-related payroll instructions and compensation changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and local requirements.

  • Administer expatriate compensation programs, including assignment allowances, cost-of-living adjustments, housing support, incentives, and other mobility-related benefits.

  • Prepare and process assignment documentation, including assignment letters, addendums, policy exception approvals, and related employee communications.

  • Execute annual compensation activities such as salary reviews and merit increases for the assigned mobility population.

  • Manage Level 1 policy exceptions and provide recommendations based on established governance guidelines and business requirements.

  • Monitor assignee cases, provide regular status updates to stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize business or employee impact.

  • Oversee vendor engagement and service delivery, including relocation management companies, immigration providers, tax consultants, destination service providers, and payroll partners.

  • Review and support mobility cost projections, assignment budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking to ensure cost effectiveness and transparency.

  • Maintain accurate employee mobility records, documentation, and reporting within mobility and HR systems.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen the overall employee mobility experience.

  • Support mobility-related projects, policy reviews, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Global Mobility function.

  • Ensure all mobility activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, local regulations, and global governance standards.
