Job summary

IOM - UN Migration in Manila seeks a dedicated Supply Chain Associate – Warehousing and Logistics to provide logistics, warehousing and procurement support for IOM operations worldwide. Based in the Manila Supply Chain Unit, you will coordinate plans, data analysis and guidance under senior supervision.

You will work with MSCU Procurement, freight forwarders and customs authorities to ensure compliant, timely deliveries, while contributing to SOP improvements and training initiatives across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience; or High School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
• Trainings on procurement, logistics or cargo insurance are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and assist in logistics plans and documents for operations.
• Provide logistics support with MSCU Procurement and Global Stocks Operations for timely shipments.
• Liaise with transport providers for claims when necessary.
• Analyze logistics data and prepare statistics for review by the Senior Associate and Unit Head.
• Assist in delivering procurement policy guidance to IOM missions.
• Serve as primary contact between internal teams, freight forwarders and customs authorities.
• Contribute to training and dissemination of supply chain best practices worldwide.
• Develop and update SOPs and quality controls within logistics operations.
• Perform buyer functions as required by MSCU Head.
• Undertake TDY for field training and logistics support.
• Handle any other duties as assigned.
