Job summary

Shell seeks a Controller, Local Reporting, to lead statutory and regulatory reporting for a multi-entity portfolio across the Americas and Asia. You will manage Local Statutory Reporting and US/Local GAAP specialists, ensuring accurate close, audit readiness, and governance.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, regulators, and external auditors, driving climate reporting and continuous improvement in financial processes while shaping the finance function in a global energy company.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification with strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with external audits and regulators.
• Ability to lead statutory reporting and governance across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory and regulatory reporting across the Americas and Asia.
• Manage a team of Local Statutory Reporting and US/Local GAAP specialists.
• Oversee US external reporting and Local GAAP compliance across in-scope entities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and drive timely implementation of reporting requirements.
• Lead climate and sustainability reporting initiatives in line with local requirements.
• Provide insightful analysis on financial results and accounting judgments to support decisions.
