Job summary

Bruker India is seeking an IT Service Engineer based in Mumbai to provide technical support and assist end-users. The role involves troubleshooting software/hardware issues and deploying new systems, working both independently and as part of a team.

This is a two-year contract (subject to renewal) with responsibilities including IT Service Desk operations, device management, patching, and coordination with vendors, with travel up to 20% in Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

• Diploma level (preferred) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related working experience.
• Experience handling end users at various levels.
• ITIL Foundation certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the day to day IT Service Desk to employees via emails and ticketing system.
• Monitor incidents and service requests; dispatch and escalate tickets; ensure issues are resolved.
• Manage installation/delivery of End User Devices (Desktops, Laptops, Monitors, Phones, Printers, Mobile devices).
• Ensure PC health; patching and virus protection.
• Provide assistance to users regardless of location.
• Perform other IT related duties and on-demand projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure smooth operations and SLAs.
• Prepare disaster recovery and unscheduled shutdown drills; report to management.
• Willing to travel up to 20% in Asia Pacific.
