Job summary

Accenture PLC in the Philippines seeks an IP attorney with at least five years of IP transactional contracting experience to join our global IP team. The successful candidate will support Accenture’s IP transactions practice, open‑source software license compliance, and work with senior IP counsel on a broad range of technology, licensing, and strategic initiatives.

You will draft, review and negotiate IP/tech agreements, oversee open-source obligations, advise on IP risks in commercial

Qualifications

5+ years of IP transactions experience in English at a law firm or in-house.
LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school; IP/Tech Law specialization preferred.
Native Legal English with strong written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of IP issues in the technology sector.

Responsibilities

Drafts, reviews and negotiates IP/technology transaction agreements and licenses.
Reviews open-source licenses and ensures compliance across product teams.
Publishes proprietary code under Open-Source Licenses, coordinating with engineers and IP stakeholders.
Advises internal stakeholders on IP issues arising in commercial and corporate transactions.
Identifies IP risks and proposes practical solutions in complex projects.
Contributes to IP templates, guidance, and AI-enabled tools to reduce risk.
