Job summary

Manulife is seeking a strategic, collaborative Project Manager to join the PeopleComms Technology Project Management Office. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact HR technology initiatives using Traditional, Agile, and Rapid development methodologies.

This is a high-visibility role contributing to our digital transformation—leveraging data, automation, and AI to elevate how we deliver HR services globally. Hybrid work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in project management, preferably HR tech or employee experience.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, and digital tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Workday.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex HR/tech projects across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Manage projects from initiation to implementation within objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Build relationships with senior management, clients, and partners to ensure delivery.
• Oversee resources, budget, personnel, and technology for optimal outcomes.
• Drive process automation and improvements to enhance user experience.
• Provide clear communication to teams, sponsors and leadership.
• Mentor and develop team members to foster high performance.
• Track project performance including financials and outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Support global HR service delivery through data-driven decisions.
