Job summary

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) invites applications for the Sr. Human Resources Associate (MHD) position based in Manila. The role provides comprehensive HR services including recruitment, onboarding, leave management, and HR reporting to Global MHD and partners.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of a second UN official language is desirable. The incumbent will maintain HR records, ensure policy compliance, and support staff development in a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, personnel administration, contract management, and HR service delivery.
• Experience interpreting and applying HR policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Experience working with HR information systems and preparing HR reports and related documentation.
• Experience providing HR guidance and support to managers and staff; and
• Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment processes, guide hiring managers on vacancy postings, screening, shortlisting and interviews.
• Manage pre-employment activities including EOD, medical clearance and insurance enrollment; conduct inductions.
• Maintain HR data integrity in systems and generate HR reports and documentation.
• Monitor attendance, leave administration and related reports; advise on procedures.
• Support staff development, capacity-building and e-learning in collaboration with HR teams.
